Billing questions

Is the free tier a trial?: No. It has no time limit and no countdown. If you are one person working on personal or open-source projects, it stays free indefinitely.
What is a seat?: A person, not a device. One seat covers as many machines as that individual personally uses.
Can I change plan later?: Yes, at any time from your account. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated against your current period; downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
What happens if I cancel?: Your licence remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, then reverts to the free tier. Nothing is deleted.
Do you offer refunds?: Full refund within thirty days of an initial purchase. Email support and we will process it without an interview.
How is tax handled?: Calculated at checkout based on your billing location. Business customers can enter a VAT or tax ID during checkout.
